Compliance and Anti Money Laundering

As a leading international financial centre, the Cayman Islands has framed its regulatory system around international standards of supervision and co-operation with overseas regulatory authorities.  There are strict laws in place to ensure that the jurisdiction maintains a transparent and well regulated environment for legitimate business operations.

Balboa Management Ltd. requires all clients to provide extensive information in respect of beneficial ownership and source of funds for transactions and each client will be subject to background checks with international agencies.

Whilst the due diligence process is quite complex, at the end of the day it is beneficial to all concerned to ensure all clients are protected, have sought legal advice and transactions are well documented and compliant with all laws and regulations.
